Day 29: 50 feet from the front door

this week's theme: walk 50 (ish) feet from the front door, stop, take a picture.

after meandering in a somewhat circuitous eastward direction here's what i find: back porch cheeriness courtesy of my very kind visiting MIL. since her arrival things living in our yard have been pruned and snipped and trimmed and all-in-all are looking as though there's someone living here who knows about stuff like that. very perplexing for the neighbors.
